This course meets as a class just once a week. You are expected to show up and to participate in class. Participation takes many forms in this class, including attentive listening so you can react to issues before us, team presentations where your support or feedback will be necessary, and solo presentations where you must convince your audience of the value of your work.
Some of your grade is based on class participation.
The instructor is particularly unforgiving about missed appointments. Time is something that should not be wasted, and you are expected to arrive punctually for your meetings and to be prepared as well as possible for the business of the meeting.
