I completed my Ph.D. and joined Dr. Joel Saltz's Center for Comprehensive Informatics at Emory University as a Research Scientist.

Previously, I was a Ph.D. student in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University, St Louis working with my research advisor Prof. Sally Goldman. My research interests are in machine learning, content-based image retrieval, multiple-instance learning, semi-supervised learning, recommender systems (collaborative filtering).

For part of my dissertation, we collaborated with Dr. Fred Prior's Electronic Radiology Lab in Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine.

My previous advisor was Prof. Ron Cytron in the Center for Distributed Object Computing. There I worked on a project about memory allocation and relocation for real-time and embedded systems for my masters.
