Summary of Instructions for using Latex for your COLT 2000 paper

  1. For the sake of uniformity of the proceedings, we encourage you to use the Latex style files which we have provided. If you do not wish to use this style file, be sure to adhere to the formatting requirements provided. Please DO NOT use font size smaller than 10pt.

  2. Integrate your paper with the Latex style and sample files. Make sure that your paper is at most 12 pages long.

  3. Convert the dvi file to postscript using dvips with the options -t letter -D300 .
    -t letter makes the outcome fit "letter" size (8.5" x 11") paper.
    -D300 makes sure that 300dpi fonts are used (if this option causes error or warning messages, do not use it as the outcome is likely to be of very poor quality).
