SUBMITTING YOUR PAPER ELECTRONICALLY
We encourage you to submit your paper electronically because: (1) it
is easier and cheaper than sending papers by express mail; (2) you get
at least one more day to work on your paper; (3) this will greatly simplify
our otherwise tedious job of numbering every page of the proceedings;
Here are submission instructions:
- If you plan to send your paper electronically and are using Latex
and dvips, here is a summary of the
steps you need to take to prepare your postscript file. If you
encounter problems with this procedure, please check the detailed
instructions. In case of problems, contact us as soon as possible.
Remember that your paper can be at most 12 pages long.
-
By May 17, submit to colt2000@dsi.unimi.it an email
letter which begins with the following template
(in plain ASCII) with your paper information AND THEN the postscript
file for your paper. All fields in the template are optional, except
Title, Authors and Abstract.
-
At your option, you may also send us a back-up hard copy of the paper
which we will visually compare to the version we print from your
electronic submission, and which we will use as camera-ready copy in
case we cannot print your electronic submission. If you expect to be
out of town or unreachable in the period May 17-25, you should also
consider sending a back-up hard copy. The hard copy can must be
received by May 17th. Be sure that your hard copy is printed
SINGLE-SIDED on 8.5" x 11" paper.
