ACE+TAO+CIAO Mailing Lists

Bug reports or questions about ACE+TAO+CIAO should never be sent to individual members of the ACE+TAO+CIAO development team. Instead, they should always be sent to the appropriate ACE+TAO+CIAO mailing lists using the appropriate PROBLEM-REPORT-FORM, as per our standard bug reporting process.

There are several mailing lists for ACE+TAO+CIAO. This document explains what each list is for and how to subscribe/unsubscribe from these lists (you must subscribe to the list to post to the list). Postings to the ACE, TAO, and CIAO mailing lists are gateway'd to the USENET newsgroup comp.soft-sys.ace and some people only follow and post to the USENET newsgroup.

This list is moderated and is reserved exclusively for announcements of new releases of ACE and of new releases of ACE-related documentation and technical papers. The volume of messages on this list is therefore very light (e.g., 1 posting every couple of months). General information about the mailing list is at http://list.isis.vanderbilt.edu/mailman/listinfo/ace-announce. If you ever want to unsubscribe or change your options (eg, switch to or from digest mode, change your password, etc.), visit your subscription page at:

    http://list.isis.vanderbilt.edu/mailman/options/ace-announce/<whatever your email address is>

You can also make such adjustments via email by sending a message to ace-announce-request@list.isis.vanderbilt.edu with the word `help' in the subject or body (don't include the quotes), and you will get back a message with instructions.

  2. ace-users@list.isis.vanderbilt.edu
