HW3 is not due until thursday in class.

Sorry but I have a last minute family emergency appointment with a
specialist today that came available at 2pm today that I must take.  I was
only planning on doing filler CFG introductory material today, which I
will not need to test you on Thursday.  

Thus, there is NO CLASS today.

The test is basically written and
does not do any material past hw3 (and does not do anything with counter
machines).  Please be prepared for your midterm on Thursday.  There will
be Ten true/false questions, Ten questions about regularity of languages,
Ten easy questions about mechanical operations, and Five short proofs.  It
is not intended to be too hard or too long, but probably will take the
full time (and I will stay a bit later, as long as we have the room).  No
open book or open notes, please.
