PROJECT I3-1:

REPACKAGING THE WORLD SIM FOR FUTURE SALE

Ching/Dohler are NOT eligible for this project

Part I:  A rewriting of the specifications produced by the Agents and
World teams on this project for use by the ONR for unmanned seagoing
vessels. (10-20 pp)

Part II:  A rewriting of the code in cvs so that the same test that 
was performed as Test 1 in Project I could be performed for the ONR
client, using appropriately changed terminology and appropriate change of
parameters.  A more competitive entry would add new functionality specific
to the interests of the new client.  (Code review, 1 page diff specs,
and new Test 1)

Due April 11.

Both parts will be awarded in challenge style:  first place entry
receives $20k; second place receives $5k; third place receives $2k.


PROJECT S:  SOFTWARE ENGINEERING DIAGRAMS

One 30-min presentation using a dozen diagrams in Somerville that
have been scanned and put into a ppt.  Then an explanation of each
diagram, as it is used in the text, shall be given.  Presentation dates
flexible.  Plan to complete within 1 or 2 weeks.  Maximum award:  $10k.
This project will be awarded by live auction.
