	Rules of the Assignment:

You are to deliver a five page web site design with a tiny amount
of forms processing.

You will produce the design in HTML with CSS and JAVASCRIPT, and may
use all the images you want. You will place both on a webserver so that
they can be viewed live during classes.

Your URL should not contain any spaces or special characters.

You will work in groups of four or five. DO NOT be tempted to assign
one page to each person.

TA opinions will be solicited for scoring the designs. I will probably
add some scores and seek some outside opinions.

You may seek help from others or from the TA, but the expectation is
that you will be presenting your own work that is the product of your
own mind and your own effort.

	Design Problems:

You have a choice:

Build a web site that describes the accomplishments of
Larry Walker, former Colorado Rockie and current St. Louis
Cardinal, that argues he should be in the Hall of Fame,
that has a blog you can add comments to, that lists Walker memorabilia
for sale, and that has a letter asking Larry not to retire.

Do the same for Bernie Williams of the NY Yankees.

Do the same for Jeff Bagwell of the Houston Astros.

(What, you don't like baseball? Are you AMERICAN?)

Build a web site that describes the career of Ron Unz, that
describes his lobbying efforts in California, that argues that he
should be drafted as Republican candidate for governor of
California, and that includes a blog you can add comments to.

Do the same for Jennifer Arlen, to be drafted as nominee
for the New York State Supreme Court.

Build a web site that describes the accomplishments of
General Samuel Chapman Armstrong and that argues that he should
receive a posthumous (and very belated) Presidential Medal of
Freedom. It should include a registry where people can add their
names and the cities and states they live in, who will agree to a
petition to consider Armstrong for the Medal.

Do the same for Daniel Inouye. Medal of Freedom, or drafted
as Democratic candidate for President of the United States.

Do the latter for Jack Danforth, as Republican candidate.

Do the same for Charles Eames, arguing that Washington University
should name one of the new architecture buildings Eames Hall.

You may grab images and text from any source on web. Or you can scan
anything you find.

Your should disclose (possibly with links at the bottom) any place
where you took text, images, or visual inspiration!
