Since the final exam will be comprehensive, if your score on the final is higher than your score on the midterm, then we'll replace your midterm score by your grade on the final.
TA hours: There are no more TA hours or labs this semester. If you did not pick up your graded Lab 5, it should be in your pendaflex folder. If you are not in the School of Engineering, then your graded lab is in the CS graders' office (Lopata 406). There are often various TAs hanging around the office who can return your lab to you.
Lab 5 rewrites: Lab 5 rewrites are due no later than Tuesday, April 27. If you need to redo your demo, please make arrangements in advance with a TA.
Programming Contest Information: The CS102 Programming Contest was held on April 22. Please join me in congratulating the following students who successfully entered the contest: Quincy Davis, Iliya Filev, Chien-Liang Fok, Sajan Mahajan, Brian Melton, Michael Schultz, Marc Sentany, Olcan Sercinoglu, Matthew Story, Dane Summers, and Ryan Wilhelm. (If you entered the contest and your name has been overlooked here, please contact me so you can be awarded your extra credit for entering.) See the programming contest statistics for the wins and losses for the entries (the numbers in parenthesis represent games ending by forfeit). The names of the winners will be announced in the 10 minutes prior to the start of the CS102 final exam.

Consider being a TA for a CS course next semester. If you've done very well in CS101 and/or CS102, and you like helping people solve problems, you may want to become a TA. The job is both fun and rewarding (certainly better than washing dishes), and pay starts at $7/hour. Applications are available on the door to the graders office (Lopata 406).
LATE POLICY CLARIFICATION: If you use a late coupon for a lab, you must give the demo within 72 hours of the original demo time. You must make arrangements with a TA to give the demo. The hard copy for late labs should be turned in when you do the demo. The TA will record the grade for the demo on your cover sheet and the lab should be immediately turned in to the CS102 mailbox.

The TAs will be transcribing lecture summaries and putting them on the web. Hopefully, the'll be up within a week after each lecture. You can get to them from the "notes" icon on the cs102 menu bar.
If you have a temporary CEC account from the fall, "tmpflxxxx", you need to ask CEC to change it over to a spring account, "tmpflxxxx." You can make these arrangements by sending email to kay@cec.wustl.edu.
