| My custom filter acts to blur out small-scale horizontal lines, while preserving vertical lines. The over-all effect of this is to remove the noise generated by the horizontal layers of brickwork and the steps. The important vertical features of Brooking's towers are preserved, along with any strong horizontal lines (ie the roof). This filter also preserves the people on the stairs. |
