Playground Courses
The following course materials are available to help new Playground
users get started using the tools. These materials are
available for adoption by instructors who would like to teach a
distributed applications course or distributed algorithms course using
Playground.
Washington University CS333: Distributed Applications Workshop
This undergraduate lab course surveys a number of distributed application paradigms, including
producer/consumer, process control, client/server, collaborative work, pipeline
processing, and distributed multiplayer games. Courswork consists of a series
of small individual and group projects, followed by a significant final project.
Emphasis is on design and implementation.
