EuroPLoP will include the discussion of concrete patterns and pattern languages for programming, an experience session, and a session about pattern methods and tools. Concrete patterns and pattern languages will be discussed in a Writer's Workshop format. In separate homegroups you can informally discuss every interesting aspect of patterns. A daily newsletter informs you about homegroup results, or issues of general interest that come up when discussing patterns. The conference program further includes a guided tour to the monastery, games and lots of pleasure.
EuroPLoP will be held at Kloster Irsee, a former Benedictine monastery, in the heart of Bavaria, Germany. Its history can be traced back to the 12th century, and the buildings we see today were erected in the beginning of the 18th century. The monastery is surrounded by large woods and close to the Alps. Accommodation is available on site.
Irsee is well connected to Munich International Airport by train or bus.
